Elizabeth, Cherry

Elizabeth was another of Charlotte's earliest suburbs, and now is one of its close-in popular neighborhoods. Elizabeth Avenue, an extension of Trade Street, runs directly into the area, and one of the main hospitals in the city, Novant Presbyterian Medical Center. A streetcar once ran down this road, and today a trolley is again making it's way through the campus of Central Piedmont Community college from the heart of uptown to this point. Developed in the early 29th century, Elizabeth is a Historic District. Still fashionable, walkable and desirable.

The Cherry neighborhood is walkable to the Greenway, Trader Joe's, restaurants and close to Uptown, major hospitals and highways!
